Stephan Benn, born in Bergisch Gladbach, grew up in Hamburg, studied law in Osnabrück and Paris, lives in Cologne. Worked as a lawyer in Cologne from 2000 to 2018, specialising in music and media law, trademark law and competition law as well as GEMA, GVL & KSK. Active in the music and event industry since 1995. Regular lectures on legal topics in the music and event industry, lecturer at the University of Paderborn and member of C:POP. Head of administration at Cologne's GLORIA since 2018. Member of the board of Livekomm e.V., 1st chairman of LiveInitiative NRW e.V.
