Pascal Kaiser is not only a Cologne native and passionate FC supporter with all his heart, but is at least as committed a referee, officiating matches up to the national league level. In 2022, Pascal came out publicly as bisexual during his time in Brandenburg. The reactions were largely positive, the regional soccer association, the referee committee and his club all backed him, and the media response was huge. Since then, he has been actively involved as an activist in soccer against homophobia and has been invited to many public events such as CSDs, in the state parliament, at protest tournaments, in the summer a painting will be dedicated to him at an exhibition in Düsseldorf as part of the European Football Championship in his own country, etc. Pascal is currently back in Cologne, has joined the local Bunte Liga in addition to his job as an association referee and is working with Marcus Urban on the "Sports Free - Coming out in professional sport" campaign.
