Nils Hilkenbach is a research associate at the German Federal Cultural Foundation and heads the "Zero - Climate-neutral art and culture projects" programme. After studying art history, cultural studies, Slavic studies and business administration, he previously worked as a consultant at the Dresden State Art Collections, where he was responsible for organisational development and project management for the renovation of the Blockhaus, among other things, and coordinated exhibitions at the Museum of Decorative Arts with a focus on design as well as international cooperation projects such as the German Pavilion at the London Design Biennale 2021.
