Mario Graute is head of political communication at the new "GREEN CULTURE CONTACT POINT" set up by the federal government. He is also responsible for relationship management within the network and works with the contact point's event team to organise the Green Culture Festival. Mario Graute studied Political Science and Political Communication at the University of Bielefeld. After successfully completing his dissertation, he worked in cultural policy, most recently for the head and spokesman of the Culture & Media working group of the Alliance 90/The Greens parliamentary group in the Bundestag, Erhard Grundl, MP. His passion is music. He plays bass and drums in various bands. In the meantime, Mario Graute runs his own concert and booking agency in Berlin. He enjoys spending weekends with family and friends at his dacha.
