Lea Maria Breuer has been working as a lawyer at the Themis confidential counselling centre against sexual harassment and violence since May 2022 and is the new contact person for the music industry.

During her legal traineeship, she worked at the Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency and realised how important it is to her professionally and personally to support those affected by discrimination.

The Themis confidential counselling centre against sexual harassment and violence is an institution supported by associations and trade unions which, as a cross-industry confidential counselling centre, offers those affected in the creative industries an opportunity to voice their concerns in a protected environment. They offer legal and psychological counselling.

Lea's legal counselling services are aimed firstly at employers seeking advice on setting up an internal complaints office in accordance with the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG). She also advises those affected by sexual harassment or violence. She can provide those affected with initial assistance on how the experience should be categorised under labour law and what steps they can take. Discussions with Lea are strictly confidential and are subject to professional secrecy.
