Jochen Schliemann is one half of the largest travel podcast in the German-speaking world: "Reisen Reisen - der Podcast". Together with his co-host Michael Dietz, he has been publishing bi-weekly episodes (over 150 so far) on travel destinations, philosophies and topics for a steadily growing community since 2018. The book accompanying the podcast ("Reisen Reisen - Wie wir die Welt entdecken wollen") landed on the Spiegel bestseller list. On their sold-out tour of Germany, the duo recently performed live in front of around 350 people at the Kulturkirche in Cologne.

He has been working as a cultural and travel journalist, book author (his debut solo novel "P - trauriges Reisen" was published in 2019), photographer, lecturer, editor, geographer and media scientist for over 20 years. He has published over 500 music interviews and reports in media such as GEO Saison, Rolling Stone, Galore and Visions. He has edited books on the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Radiohead and produces multimedia projects for WDR such as "1LIVE - die dunkle Seite" (on topics such as depression and bullying), for which he was nominated for the German Radio Award.
