Elef, a renowned figure in the Berlin music scene, began his journey in the 90s as a producer and label owner. Through his involvement with Handle with Care Manufacturing for more than two decades, he gained extensive expertise in the market and its changes. His passion for electronic music led him to the role of curator at Beatport from 2008 to 2022. In 2013, he co-founded Handle with Care Merchandise GmbH with Silke Maurer and became the sole owner and managing director in 2019. Under his leadership, the company has become a versatile provider and fulfillment service for merchandising products, serving to a wide range of industries including music, film, corporate, events, and festivals.
