After a diversion via a degree in architecture, Bianca found her way into journalism. In autumn 2020, she began studying journalism and PR at the Westfälische Hochschule in Gelsenkirchen. Internships at the local radio station in Oberhausen and at Salon5 confirmed her ambition to become a journalist. After working as a student trainee in the Bottrop editorial office of Salon5, she is now doing her traineeship there. Bianca believes that low-threshold access to journalism is important for everyone and wants to encourage young people to set up their own projects and deal with topics that move them.
