In the early 1990s, Andreas began booking underground shows and publishing music fanzines, such as Persona Non Grata magazine. He worked as a music journalist for VISIONS magazine and as PR manager at EFA Distribution before founding his own label Exile On Mainstream in 1999 and the agency Southern Records Germany in 2003. Southern provided services in the areas of distribution, label management, PR and tour booking. From 2013 to 2022, he worked as Senior Manager in the areas of sales, customer service and quality assurance at the Optimal Media pressing plant. Since 2022 Andreas has been working as European Operations Manager and Vinyl Guru for Europe's largest vinyl broker Keyproduktion. The UK-based company works with a variety of pressing plants and Andreas' responsibilities include customer service, process management and quality assurance. Aside from this job, he still runs Exile On Mainstream Records, which now has over 100 releases and will be celebrating the label's 25th anniversary in 2024. He also writes as a freelance journalist for MINT magazine. In his spare time, he likes to climb mountains or ski down them.
