Mankel Brinkmann has been professionally active in the music and event industry for many years. Since completing his studies in Latin American Studies in Cologne and numerous stays abroad (in Mexico, Spain, the USA and Chile, among others), he has been running the Club Bahnhof Ehrenfeld and the Yuca in his adopted city of Cologne. He is co-founder of the concert and artist agency Hush Hush and has been involved in Klubkomm, the association of Cologne clubs and event organizers, since 2016. He has been the association's 1st chairman since 2020 and also represents the interests of the Cologne scene at the national level as an elected member of the Livekomm board.
