As the founder of the Haldern Pop Festival in the early 1980s, he expanded the existing skills of the village of Haldern to include art, developed the concept of folk action and formed the Haldern Pop brand from it. In addition to the festival, the music label Haldern Pop Recordings, a concert agency, a record shop, another festival in South Tyrol and the Haldern Pop Bar, as an "off day" live club for stranded musicians between Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam and Cologne, have now been established under this roof. He also runs the enthusiasm manufactory Simply, King & You.

His entrepreneurial aspiration is to connect diverse people, to set community and places in resonant vibration, to allow one's own space within the whole and to inspire from the known to the unknown.
