Hendrik Menzl is the project manager for the Pop Scholarship. He is a member of the BV POP board and of the Landesverband für populäre Musik und Kreativwirtschaft M-V e.V. (PopKW).

In the GVL, he is the delegate for the pop sector. In Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, he advises the state's cultural scene as cultural manager and managing director of KL Kulturland MV gGmbH. Before that, he worked as a booker for artists all over the world and released three albums with his band Supershirt.
