Let's not beat around the bush anymore, starting out in the music industry is damn hard. You have no contacts, no money, Google doesn't help you and you don't know the unwritten laws that nobody wants to explain to you on top. So who to ask if nobody really comes out with the language? GIRLS* GET SHIT DONE breaks with the long-established structures of secrecy - you have questions? We answer them. Plain language, pragmatic, no empty phrases. In this session you will learn everything you want to know from women in the industry. The speakers have many years of experience in the music industry and are passionate and successful at it - but have also made all the big and small mistakes before and that's exactly why they are your partners in crime.

GIRLS* GET SHIT DONE is an idea by Jasmin Himmelmann and Simone Schellmann, the founders of Counterparts. After a first start in 2022 at Feierwerk I Fachstelle Pop in Bavaria, they will continue the project as part of the Club of Heroines* by musicNRWwomen* at c/o pop.

This panel is aimed at FLINTA* people within the music industry from the areas of management, booking and label who want to professionalise themselves organizationally and commercially, but also musicians* who want to network and get information. Young professionals are particularly welcome.

The Club of Heroines* event is presented by musicNRWwomen*. Participation is free and everyone is welcome! A registration is not necessary. The talk will take place in German spoken language. We stand for respectful and appreciative interaction - there is no room for discrimination at our events!

musicNRWwomen* e.V. is part of Music Women* Germany and is committed to increasing the visibility of women and gender minorities in the music industry. In our Club of Heroines* we want to present our work to you, present music by great artists* from North Rhine-Westphalia and offer a place to bring together the actors* and networks living in NRW.

The Club of Heroines* is a networking series of the nationwide network Music Women* Germany. It takes place in a modified form in all country networks and offers a place for exchange, active networking as well as for further training, presentations and qualifications - for all genders!

This measure is being implemented in cooperation with the Reeperbahn Festival as part of the funding project "Strengthening Germany as a location for music culture and music business - Reeperbahn Festival 2023", funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media.
