It will not only be celebrating 30 years of Rough Trade and 20 years of Groove Attack, but also hosting the annual sales conference of GoodToGo, the family brand of the two distribution companies which represents such legendary labels as Mute/AIP, Grönland Records, Domino and BPitch Control.
Frank Stratmann, the company's managing director, considers the C'n'B Convention and the c/o pop Festival to be an excellent platform for the sales conference and anniversary celebration. He expects lots of potential for synergies here both for the music industry and in terms of liaising with other creative sectors, which is essential for generating new ideas and business models.
