Europareise 2011, under the motto »Farther Than Ever«, mainly deals with networks, and highlights the various ways that they are formed, where they are used and what their objectives are. In addition to ten selected presentations, and a matchmaking session, we’ll be laying focus on networks and the digital age: what role do social networks play in communication? What apps and tools can be useful in the work of networks?
Conclusion and climax of the Europareise program and the international cooperation network is a panel with representatives of some of the most important conferences in the world! Gianfranco Chicco (conferencebasics.com) will moderate, with Shawn Michael O'Keefe, a representative of the SXSW Interactive in Austin as a guest. Discussing with him, Stefan Balzerof redonion / TEDx Germany, Andrija Kovac, Conference Director of the Share Conference in Belgrade, and Kitty Leeringof PICNIC in Amsterdam will address the question of how the network approach applies to the broad field of creative conferences –or maybe not.
Apart from the Europareise hosted sessions, the remainder of C'n'B is also network-centric. Even before the official opening, C'n'B and Medien.NRW present an event on Wednesday (22.06.): International Matchmaking OMG! (online, mobile, games), where innovative companies in Scandinavia, Ireland, and the Netherlands are precisely matched with potential partners from NRW.
On Thursday, CREATIVE.NRW offers speed dating in cooperation with the Competence Centre for Cultural and Creative Industries of the Federal CREATIVE.CROSSOVER. Here, creatives are networked through the web of sub-sectors and are advised on topics such as business models and financing strategies.
The highlight of this networking event format is a common C'n'B online master table.
In the Networking Lounge meet creatives in digital: the exclusive speed dating or networking online business and creative industries.
