A damn fine and still very young band by the way, as these guys from Essen are all under 20.
And, after being together only one month, they put out a hit with their first song „So Genau“ and then won a band contest, so they don’t seem to be doing too much wrong. Wonderfully unironic, their song „Hier und Jetzt“ is another smash, raging and screaming and fighting with loud music and smart text against ubiquitous and pervasive weakness. Indie with German text and minimal electro, math rock and new wave influences, Eisbaer are nothing short of German New Wave 2.0
