New hypotheses of Industry communication
c/o pop at the Frankfurt book fair
Networking, cooperation and knowledge transfer have been key c/o pop concepts since the beginning. For over six years, c/o pop has been encouraging various industries to pool their ideas and successfully integrating effective cross-sector communication into the annual conference programme. Recently, c/o pop has expanded its radius of action and, through targeted cooperation and selected initiatives, been presenting new content and ideas at other events.
For the Frankfurt Book Fair, which begins on Wednesday 14 October, c/o pop has developed an exciting new format entitled »Learning from the music industry – Hypotheses of industry communication«. The event will present and compare various studies on the music and book industries, revealing interesting parallels and coming to some surprising conclusions. It will also explore the idea of making a strategy out of educating the public, explaining why the consumer needs to know about value chains in order to make an industry profitable.
Participants include Stefan Herwig (Managing Director, Dependent/ Mindbase), Hergen Wöbken (Managing Director, IFSE – Institut für Strategieentwicklung), Sebastian Haupt (business psychologist and market researcher) and Claudia Jericho (Head of Professional, c/o pop). The event is taking place as part of the series »Focus on Creative Content« on Wednesday 14 October from 4.15 – 5 pm in the Book Fair’s workshop room.
